2-Pin Nissan RB25 / SR20 Fast Idle Control Device (FICD) Connector (Purple)

Connector suits R33 RB25DET and S14 and S15 SR20DET’s.

The idle control system on mid-1990’s Nissan RB and SR engines (among others) consists of an Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) unit, which consists of two devices – the auxiliary air controller (AAC) and the fast idle control device (FICD). In many cases, a third device, which is separate to the IACV, called an idle air regulator is also fitted.

This purple 2-pin connector fit the Fast Idle Control Device (FICD), which is part of the IACV unit and lets a specific amount of air into the engine to increase the idle speed when load on the engine increases due to the air conditioning compressor coming on or when load from the power steering pump suddenly increases.

Connector comes with connector housing, terminals and seals.
