Description
ZF Electronics / Cherry GS101205 Hall Effect Speed & Cam/Crank Position Sensor with Connector
When combined with a pull-up resistor, hall-effect sensors such as this one output a digital signal (high or low) and can be triggered using a ferrous steel toothed trigger wheel. Because the output signal amplitude is not dependent on the speed of the trigger wheel, hall-effect sensors do tend to measure very low speeds more accurately than reluctor sensors.
