Raceworks Submersible Plastic E85 Safe Convoluted Fuel Pump Outlet Tubing
Available in a range of lengths and diameters, this ethanol compatible submersible tubing/hose is used to connect the in-tank EFI fuel pump outlet to the base of a fuel pump cradle (aka modular reserve assembly / MRA) on certain models.
Size options are as follows:
- 120mm Long – 8mm ID one end / 10mm ID other end
- 160mm Long – 8mm ID both ends
- 160mm Long – 10mm ID both ends
- 225mm Long – 8mm ID both ends
- 240mm Long – 10mm ID both ends
The convoluted ‘ribbed’ section of the hose is flexible, but the ends are much more rigid than rubber hose, so fitting the tubing onto the barbs can take some practice. Generally, some heating of the ends is required to soften the plastic enough to allow fitment. To further assist the fitting process, a fitment tool is also available as an option. The fitting tool allows the installer to grip the tubing and supply enough pressure to fit the tube over the barb (shown below).
