5-Pin Toyota Ignition Module (Igniter) Connector to suit 1UZ-FE (non-VVTi) / 4A-GE / 4E-FTE / 3S-GE etc.
Three variants of external Denso igniters were fitted to Toyota models throughout the 1990’s, both with 5-pin connectors, but with different connector keying. We have connectors available for two of the three versions. Please refer to the information below to determine the correct version to suit your application:
The first ‘Side Key’ version has a locating key on each side of the connector only.
Looking into the connector, the left key is thin and the right key is thick
(therefore, looking into the igniter itself, the left key is thick and the right key is thin)
A common igniter that suits this connector has Toyota part number 89621-26010.
The ‘Bottom Key’ version has a locating key on each side of the connector plus one key offset on the bottom.
A common igniter that suits this connector has Toyota part number 89621-12050.

- Toyota Corolla Levin / Sprinter Trueno AE101 / AE111 with 20V 4A-GE engine
